The Shed is Dead baby! Update from BOB... morning from Spain, Its final clean up time, hope you are all safe and well..
We continue to plan the return trip..We are a little slow getting started.. After 14 days hard work...but are planning to leave in 3 days (20th July) We are going to chill for the next few days, as we plan the journey... the plan so far is to make a few stops along the way from Spain to Holland. We need places to park the bike and camper, If you are on route and can help out let us know, for more information please see below.
Matt has been amazing help, the old fashioned kind that saves you time and cash. He has never been to Holland.. the cost will be about the same just longer drive.. And so #Plantaseedalongtheway 2 (see update 6) is born...

Looking less like a shed and more like an Ark!
Trip out to get supplies for the return journey
Been in the post office.. and then the bank.. both times they recognised me!
Masks have to be put on if you are on the street in the Vilenca region from noon on 18th July. I am sure its changed big time since the lockdown has been lifted. If you walk into a bank in the UK, even down the street you could find your self being pulled by the police.. odd now you have to have a mask to go into a bank!
I now know I'd never make a bank robber as everyone can still tell who I am!... today was a bit of an eye opener, got to chat with a few people from the village. I have yet to find out why lots seem to keep the mask on their elbow or below the nose! Ive been in and out of Spain for almost 15 years, 9 years around the village and I can fully admit that I have got no clue about Spain.
I did think I was getting my head around things, thinking that I could navigate the law a little, now I just fit in. I know 100% that the mask does nothing, all the computer prediction models that they use to work out what will happen next and yet they can not think outside the box. I know a computer has got no real intelligence, that it can only work with what its given... to most this is computerized artificial intelligence.

Picking up a few souvenirs to take back to the UK!
We are all on The Path and the road leads upward ever, with frequent resting places.
Moving forward we have been working on a way to get the work of the DC projects and the new path project across in a quick and simple way... Its a work in progress but the above illustration is what we have come up with so far. It gives you an idea of what we have achieved so far and what we would like to develop.

Benidorm, July....Ghost town!
Check out the route on locatoweb HERE
Ive been driving in the EU Spain for 8/9 years and been stopped 3 times. Once in the car for speeding they were really cool and it only cost me €60. I was doing 60km on the 40kmh slip road. Then once on the bike, but the police man just wanted to rev my bike up! I should have got a €600 fine but hey, its a Harley. There was one other time I stopped to tell a man he had no break lights, you can see the video on youtube.
Once they stopped me on the street, looking for drugs in Alicante outside one of the clubs I work with here in Spain, they have a lot of police members and they tell me that an A frame is 100% not legal in Spain, even on a UK car. You can not fit a tow bar to your own car or even change the headlights to LED, it would fail its next ITV that's the Spanish MOT.
I am at Finestrat village 15km from Benidorm the police more often will stop campers over 3500kg, they say they get a lot that can only drive up to 3500kg coming form the UK. In France I got stopped once at 2am they looking were looking for drunk drivers. In Holland ive never been stopped in 35 years.
In the UK I have been stopped over 100 times in 20 years for all manner of things, ive been to court 7 times and paid one fine of £160. Ive had 9 complaints against the police had 8 upheld. The worst place I have ever driven is the UK the police are a law unto themselves, little more than highway men.I say it does not matter if youre legal or not, get pulled by the English police your going to have to know your rights as well as be 110% legal... even then you may have to go to court! Its the only place in the world I record the police and in 6 out of 9 times it was my recording that crushed the police.
