The Rescue Mission – Part 5 – The supply run, Spain

Saturday 11th July

With progress going well on site supplies are needed today, so we headed off in the car to stock up. Using our LIVE tracker we also took pictures along the way, we can upload to the app in real time. You can see our route on the track named 'Benidorm supply run'. We want to make sure we get our prorities right though so...Breakfast first!

Ex Pats do a fine full English Breakfast, it is also a supermarket for all your English essentials such as Bovril and proper Tea!

Welcome to Spain.. The doors are open to Welcome you to the new European fear factory.. Its got all the fun in the sun. As long as you do just what the TV tells you to. Its not that hard once you get your head out your own ass... And dance to the 'new normal'... Be funny if it was not for the damage being done to the children...Look at me you think I am living the dream, this is a nightmare...

We should be finished dismantling the shed in the next day or two, then cleaning up and heading back.... Spain is very different Now they have the new normal... The Spanish have had the spirit beaten out of them, that's really sad... had just one person hug me without fear... over 70% of all the planting is dead... cant do any more than I have here in Spain, never had a single break since Ive been here. everything left to the last moment and then panic.. my god even christmas takes them by surprise every year! and now the government tells the truth?

As it turns out the old darkcity radio crew hit the nail right on the head, told the world all this would happen, but still belief wins over facts. The good news is we all fit and well, even if we are not happy and need change to happen yesterday, we got a place to store our stuff, the camper and still have a little cash to keep us going... the rest of the crew want me to start doing more with the public sharing what I know.... saying I can help a lot more telling in my story...

In more ways than one!

As we continue to plan our return journey, we are thinking of visiting Rotterdam, France and Belgum.

Can you help us plan our route? Suggest stop off points? Meet us en route?

We are living in strange times so any information or advice you can give us on how things are in your part of the world would assist our travels through the Wastelands immensely and be much appreciated.

We are 2nd in the Featured profiles on the tracking app....who knows what will happen? but maybe someone is looking at what we doing and reading this blog...maybe the time is now...what ever happens I will never give up on the Spanish people, I would be dead or in wheelchair if it was not for them. They gave me a new life as did the English who sent me here to get well...but I have to say its breaking my heart to see the psychological damage being done right now to the children, only for people to see it later when the damage is done, next to begging as one man with a few helpers that have become the delta9crew, we have and are doing all anyone can...

Im starting to think the light at the end of the tunnel was our own reflection...
