The Return - Day Seven

Morning Campers!

I was up early and it was great to wake this morning on such a beautiful site, there is alot going on here.

We are taking a run out on the bike to a local coffee shop this morning

Its a 15 km drive to the centre of Hoofdorp, so we were there in about half an hour.

We arrived at the Super Fly coffee shop at 1.30pm

The campsite at Camperplaats Groene Hart 'Green Hart' a walk round the site showing some of the amazing environmental infrastructure that has been put into place. The area itis in is called Haarlemmermeer polder. 160 years ago this area used to be a large inland lake, 6 metres below sea level. The ground is still filled with shells. The Haarlemmermeer used to be called: “The water wolf”.
