The labs in spain decided to make some balms for pain and skin complaints, using the same base formula as the capsules (cocoa butter and coconut oil and frankincense), with added vitamin E and beeswax. The original balms were also made with additional essential oils including peppermint oil, lavender oil, we found these had an additive effect when used for pain management.
The balms were made in 2%, 4%, 8% and 16% THC, but we found that the 2% and the 4% balms would work in the majority of cases. Only a few of the 8% and 16% were ever made and were used in extreme circumstances.
The 2% THC Balm is for the treatment of arthritis and the 4% THC Balm is used for psoriasis, although this may vary in each individual and individual case, depending on the severity of the condition.
From feedback from our members we found the balms most effective, when used starting with the strongest balm first, working down to the lower percentage balms to maintain.
