The Rescue Mission Part 3 – Tour of the site and shed

We worked around the sides of the shed first to clear the outside working area and then to dismantle undercover storage area - you can see how the roof was adapted and elongated to create these two areas.

 Contary to rumours that Logen's mine had been locked down due to covid19, it has now come to light that it was actually locked down due to planning and land rights issues...in reality who owns the land anyway? Or has the authority to dictate what can be done on it? We the people reserve the right to keep panning!...its quite literally a gold mine!

Paul took a tour round the site today, We have the much loved pizza oven on wheels in the yard, you cant beat freshly cooked pizza! The door which takes the brunt of the heat could do with replacing as it has been well used.

Adjacent to the yard is the wood store which is a bit low and could do with topping up, its always best to be well prepared on the wood front!
As we move down into the garden the irrigation system starts, it is an imperative component in hot, dry climates as it is the literally the difference between your plants living or dying, the irrigation pipes have unfortunately burst in places meaning we have lost a few plants. The importance of correct water management on any site is the foundation of any land and home.

The Bespoke shed and lab at the further down the path were all designed to fit our requirements, a lot of planning and hard work went into the design. In the video you can see the start of the shed being taken down and the lab equipment beginning to be packed up. We have hit by challenges and as ever are learning from our mistakes. However we are focused and pulling together to move forward... we forge on, strength from within and the mountain showing us an outward symbol of that strength.
